2018 Investigation notes:

Original structure built in 1930 (City records) by the Toutant Family as a Phillips 66 Gas Station. The gas station was later operated by Wilford Plante and then transferred to George and Steven Thaler after 1967. Property is currently owned by J&S Sales LLC (City records). Historically the structure was a single story vernacular commercial wooden building with plank siding. The original building has substantially been modified with changes to the roof, facade, and relocation of doorway and window placements. A modern addition to the original building has been made on its northeastern side with a service bay garage added for mechanical repairs. The modern materials and changes to the structure’s appearance bear little resemblance to the image of the original 1930 building shown in an image of the building circa 1984 in the WHPD AHI file for this structure.
