Additional photo codes are: FRV E/11 Names of structure: Laux's Service Bakery (1933-1960) Serv-Us Bakers of Appleton (1960-1965) Godshall Paper and Box (ca 1970-?) This structure was erected in 1933, by William Laux as a wholesale bakery. Mr. Laux continued operating at this location until 1960. When the plant was sold and renamed the Serv-Us Bakers of Appleton By 1965 all baking operations ceased at this site, and the structure remained vacant for several years. Around 1970 the building was purchased by Godshall Paper as a warehouse and storage facility. The two story brick structure measures 20' x 74' and has stepped and gabled cornice lines rising from a flat roof. |
