Additional Information: | House overlooks the Fox River; wide steps lead down bluff at the rear of the house. This structure contributes to the significance of the East College Avenue Residential Historic District under Criterion C as an outstanding example of a mansion-scale Tudor Revival house exhibiting fine craftsmanship, quality materials and careful design. This costly, architect-designed mansion has been preserved with all of its important features intact. The Cotswold style slate roof is a rare and remarkable example of the slaters act.
