The Barrett house is an eclectic design, predominantly inspired by Chateaux design. Two stories in height, the house is constructed on a L-shaped plan. A cylindrical tower stands at the juncture of the two wings, and holds the main entrance. Barrett was a partner in Cayll and Barrett, a company specializing in cement products and ready mixed concrete. |
