NOTES
Additional Information:The Professional Building is a large two story brick structure which originally served as an auto company and garage. The building has a dressed stone facade distinguished by a metal cornice with brackets and Doric columns separating the paired bays on the second floor. The lower storefornt, which was once a large disply area, has been altered. Also the building is missing the parapet that rose above the cornice. A photo of the building is located at the Chippewa Valley Museum.

In 1912 the Tanberg Auto Company occupied the building. In 1931 the Tanberg Auto Company was still the occupant and the Sanborn Map of the same year noted that the garage held seventy five cars (B,C).

NOTE: inventory card states: "In 1912 this building was occupied by the Wood Motor Co." (Our Story 1876-1976, p. 91).

1997-First floor altered, replacement windows on first and second stories.
