Additional Information: | A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. This two story other vernacular styled house was designed by Crabtree and built in 1928 by Walch and Crabtree. [A]. It features an irregular shaped plan configuration, a brick foundation, a clapboard exterior, a wood trim and an asphalt shingled gable roof. An extended eave continues downward from the gable of both the main roof and the projecting entrance bay. Pairs and bands of three-over-one windows distinguish the facade, and a shed dormer is visible at the side elevation. An inappropriate security door is sheltered by a round arched and bracketed door hood. Frieze boards, a wooden stringcourse, and shutters are other architectural elements. The residence is in good condition. |
