A row house constructed in the late nineteenth century. The two story frame structure (aluminum siding covers the original surface) that contains five living spaces features a mansard-like roof, bay windows, and three small entrance porches. The 1902 city directory referred to this residential unit as "Terrace Row."

2016- "The Salsbury Row House is a two-story, wood frame, five-unit structure that was originally built for James F. Salsbury, and early Eau Claire lawyer and land developer. It is a well preserved example of a late Victorian, Queen Anne style row house, uisually found in larger cities on the east and west coasts. In Wisconsin, they are rarely seen ouside of Milwaukee. The Salsbury Row House has been historically owner-occupied, with the owners residing in the corner unit, which possesses a larger floor plan and higher style design than the four other dwelling units in the building.

The building has an aphalt shingle mansard style roof, light blue-colored horizontal aluminum siding and an exposed ashlar limestone foundation. The exterior walls are punctuated b symmetrical double hung and fixed pane windows with contrasting white trim. Functional and stylistic elements inclde single and multistory bays, decorative gables and scrollwork, pent roofs and a tall ornamented brick chimney."
