Additional Information: | This two story frame residence is an example of the Queen Anne style. Stylistic features include irregular massing and roof outline, use of various materials - in this case shingles and clapboards (the clapboards have been covered with siding, see photo collection of Eau Claire Landmarks Commission), and instead of a corner tower, a cantilevered gable and rounded bay window. A gabled second story porch and front veranda are additional details. John Drummond, the brother of David Drummond, 1310 State Street, 3P/17, was listed at this address from 1892 - 1920 (B). He was a partner in the Drummond Packing Company, which was organized in 1881 and incorporated in 1893. |
