Additional Information: | A large two story stucco residence characterized by a hipped roof, a hipped roof dormer, and a screened-in veranda. Attached on the east is a porte-cochere. Thorpe J. Wilcox, brother of Roy Wilcox (104 Wilcox Street, 2P/21), was born in Eau Claire in 1877. He was involved with the Linderman Box and Veneer Company, which was organized in 1895 by A.T. Linderman. In 1902 Delos R. Moon took control of th efirm with Wilcox serving as vice president and general manager. Wilcox later (in 1929) became president of the box company which continued to operate until 1944. |
