Additional Information: | Located on the city's far west side, the Mt. Washington School (named for the hill upon which the school is situated) is a two and a half story brick and stone structure capped with a hipped roof and characterized by segmental arch openings in groups of three and four. A shingled gable marks a tower-like feature which contains the main entrance. Concrete block and frame additions are located on the east side of the building. Between 1981 and 1987, all windows were enclosed and casement windows inserted. 1997-vacant building. |
