Additional Information:Resurveyed 2014. Appearance unchanged.

This 2-story twentieth century commercial building was constructed in 1913 for the Mayville Auto Company at the northwest corner of Horicon and Main Streets. The building is rectangular in plan with a flat roof and brick exterior. The south and east elevations are divided into bays slightly recessed into the mass of the building and corbelled at the upper terminus. A brick belt course runs along both facades delineating the upper and lower levels. The principal elevation faces east onto Main Street containing three bays-of which the central bay is narrower than the adjacent. In the upper story, modern windows in metal sashes are set in the northern two bays. The entrance is located in the east elevation in the central bay. Large modern windows in metal sashes are located in the bays on either side as well as the eastern most bay of the south facade. The south elevation is comprised of six bays. Concrete block ways are set in the upper story with the exemption of the eastern most bay which contains a sign reading "NAPA". Below, the central four bays contain small 1-by-1 windows at the story.

The Main Street Historic District was listed in the NRHP in 1995 as a contributing building in the Main Street Historic District. The district was listed in the area of significance pertaining to architecture and commerce with a period of significance dating from 1852 to 1944.

This property was previously surveyed in 1995; the appearance is unchanged since that time. The inventory record was updated with the current survey year.
