Additional Information: | A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the State Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation. See also "Morey Bungalows" site file. The exterior of this bungalow is covered entirely with small fieldstones, making this the most elaborate example of this type of construction in the city. The majority of the bungalows in the city which exhibit this fieldstone construction limit the material to the front porch or chimney area. Gambrel roofs on the porch, dormers and on the main building complete the composition. Bargeboards distinguish each of these open gambrel ends and a sunburst motif adorns the porch front. The residence is in good condition. The facade is oriented to the East. Another map code is City Map # 179. |
