Additional Information: | A simplified late Queen Anne residence that was originally clapboard and shingle sided (see 1906 photo in collection at Chippewa Valley Museum). The two story structure (it is now aluminum sided) features a prominent gable which retains its carved panels and a front veranda accented by a spindle valance. This home was originally occupied by William Luebkeman, listed in 1898 as the bookkeeper for the Eau Claire Mill Supply Company and in 1905 as the owner of a heardware store at 303 S. Barstow. |
