NOTES
Additional Information:This two story house is designed in the Italianate style. Characteristic of the form is the low pitched gable roof, beneath which is a frieze line accented by moulded frieze boards. A round window in the attic story has delicate tracery, creating a clover leaf pattern. Segmental arched openings distinguish the front windows which have one-over-one panes. Spanning the full lenght of the facade is an open designed porch whose hip roof is supported by bracketed, wooden columns. A simple balustrade is also visible. Located at the side elevation is a one-story three sided bay capped by a hipped roof. Its moulded cornice is supported by heavy brackets and its windows are segmentally arched with panes arranged two-over-two. Construction elements include a rectangular shaped plan configuration, a brick foundation, a brick exterior, a limestone trim and an asphalt shingled gable roof. The dwelling is in good condition.

Robert Kretschmar was an individual associated with this house from 1878 to an unknown date. [B]. Another historic name associated with the dwelling is C. F. Julius Krueger, a.k.a. Kraeger or Kroeger. [A, B, C].
