Additional Information: | Probably built around 1906, this frame vernacular house has lost its original porch and had some openings altered. The house's history is confusing. A photograph of it appears in McKinley Memories, labeled "1916 - August Lundmark Home." On the same page, it states that the house was sold to Albert Zager in 1914. The plat atlases show the property under Lundmark's ownership through at least 1925. Albert Zager is listed as owner in the 1950 atlas. August and Amanda Lundmark came from Sweden in 1891. Albert Zager was born in Germany in 1874. |
