Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. Resting upon a foundation of rubbel limestone, this Italianate commercial building stands two stories in height. A steeply pitched gable roof covers the building, with the peak forming a pediment for the false front. This pediment has a decorative sunburst motif detail. Carved brackets, frieze boards and corner boards are other architectural elements. The building has not been altered, retaining the storefront and clapboard siding. The residence is in fair condition. The facade is oriented to the Southeast. W. E. Gager, M. R. McCormick and R. R. Flickinger Jr., of owned this building in 1982. Another map code is 92/293.
