Additional Information: | Related buildings: shed (#0043626), poultry barn (#0043625), barn (#0043628) This is a one-story, hip-roofed house with composition siding and fieldstone foundation. The stairs, deck, and supports of the full-length front porch have been replaced. Several agricultural outbuildings are located north of the house, including a large, gambrel-roofed basement barn with vertical siding and stone foundation, a poultry barn, two brooder houses, a wellhouse, and an equipment barn/machine shed. The house was probably built c.1930. A house at this site first appears on a 1932 highway design sheet. Since the turn of the century several farmers have owned this 40-acre farm. |
