Additional Information: | Related building: barn (#0043689) This gabled ell frame farmhouse is clad with aluminum siding and has a stone foundation. The house consists of a 1 1/2-story upright section and a one-story wing. Alterations to the house include an addition appended to the back wall, enclosure of the ell porch, a concrete front stoop with iron porch rail, and installation of replacement windows. To the rear of the house is a gambrel-roofed basement barn with stone foundation and vertical board siding. A milkhouse has been appended to the east wall and a shed addition to the west wall of the barn. An equipment shed is also located behind the house. This house was probably built sometime in the 1890s. During the first four decades of the 20th century, the farm had at least four owners. |
