Alterations to the house include an enclosed back porch, replacement iron porch supports, and several replacement windows. To the rear of the house is a large, gable-roofed, basement barn with stone and concrete block foundation and vertical board and metal siding. A small concrete block milkhouse has been replaced with a metal-sided addition appended to the south wall of the barn.
