Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the State Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation. Remnants of a sawmill, here in 1849, was built by P. Matts who founded Paoli at the site. The Minch Brothers built the large stone structure in c. 1864. The wood overhang in front is a later addtion.
