Additional Information: IN 1983, EAVE-LINE BRACKETS AND A FRONT BAY WINDOW WHICH IS ELABORATELY DETAILED DISTINGUISH THIS ITALIANATE RESIDENCE. IT WAS FOUND TO BE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THIS TWO STORY STRUCTURE HAS A SQUARE PLAN CONFIGURATION, PROMINENT WINDOW MOLDINGS, ORNATE CONSOLES AND A HIPPED ROOF WITH DECK.

THIS HOUSE WAS MOVED TO THIS SITE BETWEEN 1927 AND 1940.(A) SINCE IT WAS FIRST SURVEYED IN 1983 THIS HOUSE HAS BEEN RESIDED IN VINYL.

HISTORICAL STATEMENT:
THE PREVIOUS HOUSE ON THIS SITE WAS BUILT FOR H.G. NATHAN, WHO IS LISTED IN THE CITY DIRECTORY AS EMPLOYED BY NATHAN & SONS, ONE OF THE CITY'S OLDEST MERCANTILE ESTABLISHMENTS. (THE NATHAN STORE WAS LOCATED AT 118 SOUTH MADISON STREET, 42/10).
