Architectual Statement: The Northwestern Hotel is a two story brick commercial structure sited opposite the Chicago and Northwestern Depot. [A]. The first story has been substantially altered, but the second story retains the nicely detailed cornice which culminates in a rouded pediment. The building, which is in fair condition, was owned by Elsie Polfuss in 1982. The facade is oriented to the South. Another map code is City Map #89. |
