Additional Information: A THREE STORY TOWER WHICH INCLUDES THE MAIN ENTRANCE IS THE DOMINANT FEATURE OF THIS RESIDENCE. THIS UNUSUAL CENTRAL TOWER IS CAPED WITH A MANSARD ROOF. OTHER CHARACTERISTICS OF THE TWO STORY HOUSE INCLUDE A SQUARE PLAN CONFIGURATION, A HIPPED ROOF WITH A DECK, ORIGINAL AND ALUMINUM WINDOWS, PROMINENT WINDOW HOODS, A CLAPBOARD EXTERIOR, AND A SHINGLE TRIM ON THE TOWER. THIS BUILDING WAS FOUND TO BE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

THIS HOUSE WAS BUILT FOR J. C. HOLLOWAY IN 1870 AND IT ORIGINALLY FACED EAST ONTO N. MADISON ST. BETWEEN 1912 AND 1927, HOWEVER, THE HOUSE WAS MOVED AROUND THE CORNER TO ITS PRESENT LOCATION, WHICH IS ACTUALLY PART OF HOLLOWAY'S ORIGINAL 2+ ACRE LOT.
