SENSENBRENNER IS GENERALLY BELIEVED TO BE THE INSPIRATION FOR EDNA FERBER'S BOOK "COME AND GET IT". SENSENBRENNER WAS A GERMAN-CATHOLIC WHO ROSE THROUGH THE RANKS OF KIMBERLY-CLARK TO BE THE COMPANY'S SECOND PRESIDENT. WAS A MEMBER OF THE WAR FINANCE COMMITTEE, A DIRECTOR OF THE FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF NEENAH AND BENEFACTOR OF MARQUETTE UNIVERSITY. AT THE TIME OF HIS DEATH WAS CONSIDERED TO BE ONE OF THE MOST POWERFUL MEN IN THE STATE. This property was last surveyed in 1981 using the City Engineer's Base Map with the code 1/29.
