Additional Information: A FRAME 20TH CENTURY COLONIAL REVIVAL, TWO-STORY HOUSE WITH A SLOPING ROOF THAT HAS EXTERIOR SHUTTERS, SIX OVER SIX WINDOWS, END CHIMNEYS, CORNICE RETURNS IN THE GABLE ENDS, A SMALL DECKED BALUSTRADED ENTRANCE PORCH SUPPORTED BY TUSCAN COLUMNS AND A ONE-STORY EXTENSION TO THE EAST. THE FLOOR PLAN IS SIMILAR TO THE VINEYARD HOUSE FORMERLY LOCATED ON THE SITE.

RUTH AND MARGARET KEIZER ARE CURRENT (1983)RESIDENTS OF THE HOUSE, AND ARE ITS ORIGINAL OWNERS. THE FIRST OWNER, ACCORDING TO TAX ROLLS, WAS MRS. MAZIE M. JONES. THIS IS ONE OF PLATTEVILLE'S FINEST PERIOD REVIVAL STYLE HOUSES AND IT IS STILL IN EXCELLENT CONDITION TODAY.
