Additional Information: | This poured concrete coaling tower was constructed c.1915 over the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad tracks which have since been removed. The tower served to load coal onto steam engines and was located near a rail junction. The tower is rectangular in plan with an open base allowing for the passage of steam engines below; the tower is capped by a small gable roof. |
