Additional Information: | This 2 story building has aluminum siding exterior fabric. One part has a flat roof with cornice another section has a gable roof with the eave facing the road. A rear 1 story shed roof addition is here. Windows are 2/2. A flat roof porch covers the front of the building. This building has been altered to the extent that it has no architectural significance. Kellahers Sporting Goods was established in 1905. It was called Willow River Inn and was a 3 story building, with a capacity to hold 30-40 people. This is the site of the Old Hoover Hotel. William Hoovewr Proprietor. The top burned in 1918. The hotel and restaurant continued until 1936 and sporting good were introduced in 1946. Liquor sales began in 1971. The development of this site parallels that of the rest of the business areas and has no historical significance. |
