NOTES
Additional Information:This 1 story commercial building is similar to SC 34 and 37. There is a flat roof and rear addition. The metal entablature has urns and brackets with leaf pattern on brackets and floral pattern in between. Corbel brickwork is below this. The 1st story has plate glass and a stepped back entry with a wood door. Brick is the exterior fabric. Much of the integrity of this store front remains. For New Richmond it is a good example but alterations have diminished its architectural significance.

In 1882 this was a drugstore. The building was frame, 2 stories and slate roofed. Furniture was sold here in 1892. The 1899 tornado destroyed the building and it was rebuilt as a 1 story brick building with slate roof.d Groceries and crockery were sold here In 1912 drygoods, notions and boots and shoes were sold. Sonn after it was Heinies Tavern. Soft drinks were sold during prohibition.
