Additional Information: | THIS LARGE, TWO AND A HALF-STORY HOUSE FEATURES A TRUNCATED HIPPED ROOF AND CROSS-GABLED ROOF DORMERS. SHINGLES AND FRIEZE BOARDS APPEAR IN THE GABLE ENDS OF THESE DORMERS. AT THE FIRST FLOOR, A PORCH SUPPORTED BY TUSCAN COLUMNS RUNS THE FULL LENGTH OF THE FRONT FACADE; A WINDOW BAY PROJECTS ONTO THIS PORCH. OTHER ARCHITECUTRAL ELEMENTS OF THE DWELLING INCLUDE A SQUARE PLAN CONFIGURATION, AN ASHLAR STONE FOUNDATION, A CLAPBOARD EXTERIOR, A WOOD SHINGLE TRIM, AND AN ASPHALT SHINGLED ROOF. THE INTACT BUILDING IS IN GOOD CONDITION. OBTAINED FROM TAX RECORDS ARE THE HISTORIC NAME, WILLIAM DAGENHART, AND THE 1911 DATE OF CONSTRUCTION. |
