NOTES
Additional Information:Aluminum siding is the exterior fabric on this two story building. It has side and rear additions. The hip roof has a box cornice. There are hip roof dormers with three part windows that have vertical panes. A front box oriel window has three vertical paned windows. A fan light and side lights surround the front door. This is under a flat roofed stoop porch. Most other windows are 4/1 with vertical panes. The side addition is one story with a flat roof. Alterations have diminished the integrity of this house to the point that it has no architectural significance. This was the Martin Lynch house. He moved in here in 1902. Lynch had a farm implement and later hardware store. In the 1920's he had a building at 213 & 310 South Knowles Avenue (See SC24-22). From c. 1916-1920 Lynch was mayor of the city. Cullen Funeral Home moved here in 193. A 1973 photo shows the building very similar to what it is today.
