| Additional Information: | August Kramp was the builder. This structure contributes to the significance of the Nathan Strong Park Historic District under criterion C as an interesting example of a late Queen Anne style house with a fine bowed front porch. The classical detailing is typical of the Free Classic phase of the waning Queen Anne style. Although now clad in vinyl siding, the essential identifying features of the style and the decorative elements including the fishscale shingling in the gables, and the upper and lower front porches remain intact. |
