Additional Information: | This one and one half story Dutch Colonial Revival styled house features an irrregular shaped plan configuration, a granite stone foundation, an aluminum sided exterior, a wood trim and an asphalt shingled gambrel roof with dormers. The residence is in fair condition. An attached garage is a related building. Architectural/Engineering Significance: This structure contributes to the significance of the Nathan Strong Park Historic District under Criterion C as a modest example of an early 20th century Dutch Colonial style cottage. Even though the house is now clad in wide steel siding and has had its porch posts relaced, it still retains its essential historic appearance. |
