Additional Information: | Washington School was dedicated on 20 April 1925. Actual construction of the school was done by the Appleton Construction Company of Appleton, Wisconsin. The school originally encompased grades K through 8 and included all the necessary rooms of the time period, including a gymnasium that was equipped with a stage, dressing rooms, and a projection booth. The building dedication handout notes that the corridors and bathroom floors were of terrazzo and the fenestration consisted of austral windows. The facility was used as an educational facility until the 1990s. |
