Additional Information:One-and-one-half story house with Bungalow features. Typical of the Bungalow style are rafters, large dormer on the front facade, an exterior chimney, and a screened porch.

Built in about 1910 for Charles Sutherland, a physician, who resided here until 1931. The carriage house at the rear was originally built for 220 E. Van Buren (AHI #50226).

"Typical of the well-detailed small houses built in the district between ca. 1910 and 1920, this bungalow has exposed rafter ends, applied half-timbering, and knee-brace brackets.
