Additional Information:A unique building in Galesville, this Queen Anne house has an early prairie school influence as seen in the rectilinear porches with flat roofs and brick piers. John A. Berg was the founder of both the Galesville building and REalty Company and the Farmers and Merchants Bank. As a prominent businessman in Galesville, Berg served in local politics and was also president of the Gale College Board of Trustees.
