| Additional Information: | This two-story Georgian Revival house has a gable roof, eaves decorated with modillions, and returned eaves. The walls are constructed of brick and openings are multi-light double-hung sashes decorated with shutters. A square bay sits on the west wall, while a sun room runs off of the east wall. The entrance is covered with a portico with round columns and a second story iron balustrade that covers an arched multi-light opening. The main entry is decorated with an elliptically arched transom and sidelights. The building's classical details, fine proportions, and elegant style are all typical of a well-constructed and well-designed Georgian Revival house. While not elaborately detailed, this house has the understated elegance of the style. |
