Additional Information:A new front was constructed in 1898. At one time, the Democrats rented space on the second floor as a club room. Other harness makers that owned the building were A.C. Bassuener, John Hoegh, Albert Hoegh, and Henry Melzer. In 1927, the building was used as a tailor shop.
