| Additional Information: | This two and one-half story Queen Anne house has a steeply-pitched intersecting gable roof with an octagonal tower projecting from the southeast corner of the house. The house has clapboard siding and projecting bays. Windows are largely single light double-hung sashes. The front porch is slightly arched with round posts and a spool-and-spindle balustrade. Garage. This house is architecturally significant because it is a fine and typical example of the Queen Anne style. The large, irregular plan of the house, the projecting bays and corner tower, and the veranda are all typical and well-executed details of the style. This was the home of Warren Meiklejohn, a real estate agent, between 1905 and 1919. |
