NOTES
Additional Information:This two-story Italianate house has a low-pitched complex hip roof and an irregular plan due to the many projecting two-story bays. The wide eaves of the house are decorated with a panaled frieze and brackets. Windows are largely single-light double-hung sashes. A later-added veranda wraps around one side of the house. It features a spool-and-spindle balustrade and frieze, turned posts, and brackets.

This house is architecturally significant as a good example of a late Italianate house. The vertical emphasis of the house and the irregular plan are all elements of the late Italianate style. The bracketed eaves and hip roof are typical of the Italianate style, as well.

This house was the long-time home of Levi and Georgia Treleven between 1887 and 1942. Levi Treleven was a partner in the Treleven Brothers clothing store, and later in his life was involved with an automobile top firm.

This house is not historically significant at this time, however, with further research information may be uncovered that makes the house historically significant in the future.
