| Additional Information: | Large Tudor Revival house of cut limestone. The main block features a steep gable roof with polygonal bay on the front (street side) facade. The roof line extends down over the front entranceway which is highlighted by a timber gable outline. Brick set in a herringbone pattern fills the space between the main block and the entranceway. The side also features a two story bay and a projecting second floor beyond. A large Tudor-esque chimney rises front the main roof. A two story wing extends to the south with another massive chimney structure at the end. The wing features a series of large arched windows with French doors opening to the lawn. This large home is one of the best examples of a modified Tudor Revival style in the community. It features many of the standard architectural features of the Tudor Revival as translated into domestic building materials, most notably limestone. |
