Additional Information: | This large house is two and a half stories in height and is covered with stucco accented by horizontal and vertical boards creating a half timbered effect. Windows on the first floor are banded and appear so on the second floor although they are set in pairs. This notable home has some of the characteristics of the Prairie style mixed with an early acknowledgment to the Tudor Revival which had not yet become really popular. As such it is considred significant of a large scale example of a type, style and period of construction. |
