Additional Information:Prior to 1921, the property contained an addition to 210 W. Wisconsin which functioned as a blacksmith and wagon makers shop. In 1921, the building was probably replaced with a service station representing the Deep Rock Oil Company. The company retained ownership through 1948. By 1955, the Farrell City Service Station owned the property. The ca. 1921 building was replaced sometime in the more recent past and is now vacant. Sanborn-Perris Map Co.: 1929: The filling station has not been built. Instead, the location cotains an addition to the building north of the current gas station. Columbia County Treasurer 1863: 1925, 1930: Deep Rock Oil Co. 1921-24: United Consumer Corporation (Deep Rock Oil Co.) established in 1921-22. 1920: Jacob Rupp (value considerably less). Directories: 1955: (200) Farrell City Service Station (Johnson Printing Co.) 1937, 1948: (210) Deep Rock Co. (Commonwealth Telephone Co.). 1929: (206) Deep Rock Oil Co.
