| Additional Information: | #650: Recent garage. The house is of frame construction with cross gabel roof structure and two stories in height. All windows on the hosue appear original and have rounded heads with peaked wooden hood molds over each reminiscent of the late Italianate style. The house also has a one story polygonal bay on the south facade. ront and rar porches featur a pediment over a portion of roof which is supported by Tuscan order columns. The roofs all have overhanging eaves. This house is the best example of this common transitional style on the orth side of the City and, perhaps, throughout the City. This ranking is primarily attributable to teh degree of integrity retained by this home and the superbe level of maintenance. It has been faithfully maintained by a succession of owners to remain an excellent local example of this type and style of construction. |
