Additional Information:THIS ONE AND A HALF STORY GREEK REVIVAL HOUSE WAS BUILT IN C. 1850. (SEE BIB. REF. F). SIDE GABLED IN FORM AND RECTANGULAR IN PLAN, THE BUILDING FEATURES A STONE FOUNDATION, CLAPBOARDED EXTERIOR WALLS, A WOODEN TRIM, AND A WOOD SHINGLED, GABLE AND SHED ROOF. THE FRONT ENTRANCE IS DETAILED WITH A PROMINENTLY CARVED DOOR SURROUND, DESIGNED WITH PILASTERS AND A MOLDED CORNICE. LARGE, EIGHT-OVER-EIGHT WINDOWS ARE SITUATED SO THAT ONE FLANKS EACH SIDE OF THE FRONT DOOR. A LEAN-TO ADDITION IS LOCATED AT THE REAR OF THE DWELLING. CORNER BOARDS, FRIEZE BOARDS AND MONITOR WINDOWS FURTHER DISTINGUISH THIS HOUSE. A GARAGE IS FOUND AT 819A FOUNTAIN STREET (SEE IA 31/29); IT WAS POSSIBLY MOVED HERE FROM ANOTHER LOCATION.
