WRAP AROUND PORCH W/POINTED ROOF OVER CURVED SECTION ON CNR. WOOD SHINGLES AND BARGE BOARDS IN GABLES. SPINDLED PORCH. IRON RAIL ON ROOF. Contractor was A.E. Ovren. Era was born in 1850. His lumber firm, Gerard and Farrington, moved to Stoughton from Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Gerard's were married in 1872 and adopted three children. He was later the Vice President of Stoughton Light and Fuel. The property remained in the Gerard family for more than 75 years.
