Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. This one-story astylistic utilitarian storage builidng features a rectangular shaped plan configuration, a concrete foundation, a wood frame construction, an exterior of drop siding, a wood trim, and a rolled asphalt gable roof. The facade is orientated to the northeast. No basement was included in the architectural design. (Another map code for this structure is 59/2). See photo code FD 59/5 for an overall shot. DESCRIPTION OF COMPLEX: The Calumet Harbor Rough Fish Station (17-18E-27) is located on the east shore of Lake Winnebego by Calumet Harbor in Fond du Lac County. The Rough Fish Station is positioned on a small inlet and not directly on the lake itself. The complex consists of three storage buildings (1938 and 1939) which are all quite similar. They are all frame buildings with pale adam green drop siding and white wood trim. The buildings are in above average condition. (An overall shot of the complex is represented on photo code 59/5).
