| Additional Information: | Brick, Early Picturesque house has segmental-arch windows. This two-story, front gable residence was constructed c.1865. It is clad in painted brick, and rests on a fieldstone foundation. The gable roof is covered in asphalt shingles and features a simple wood cornice and wide frieze boards. A modern entrance door with multi-light transom flanked by multi-light sidelights is located on the western side of the front (north) facade. Door and window openings have segmental arch brick headers and stone sills. Windows are one-overone, double-hung, replacement sash. A one-story gable wing is located on the rear (south) elevation. A c.1990 two-car garage is also located on the property. The house is an example of a common vernacular form with little stylistic detail, and has been altered with replacement windows. |
