Additional Information:THIS TWO-STORY, CROSS GABLED HOUSE FEATURES A RECTANGULAR SHAPED PLAN CONFIGURATION, A STONE FOUNDATION, A BRICK EXTERIOR AND AN ASPHALT SHINGLED, GABLE ROOF. ACCORDING TO THE INVENTORY CARD DESCRIBING THIS PROPERTY, THE FOUNDATION IS MADE OF RUSTICATED CONCRETE BLOCKS. DECORATIVE ARTICULARTION WITH BRICKS APPEARS IN THE SECOND STORY. A FRONT PORCH DETAILED WITH TUSCAN COLUMNS AND BALUSTRADED RAILINGS SHELTERS THE FRONT ENTRANCE. THIS DWELLING, WHICH IS IN GOOD CONDITION, HAS OTHER ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENTS SUCH AS LEADED GLASS AND CORNICE BOARDS.

INDIVIDUALS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS RESIDENCE AND THE DATES OF THEIR ASSOCIATION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: WILLIAM BUCKINGHAM IN 1915; AND JOHN HARRIS, JR. IN 1925. (SEE BIB. REF. A). INDIVIDUALS NAMED OATES AND COADE OWNED THE PROPERTY JOINTLY IN 1853. THE DATE ON THE DEED IS INDICATED AS BEING 1848.
