NOTES
Additional Information:Recessed front porch.

2005--The Charles Grade house is located on the border of a residential and a commercial area. Situated on the northeast corner of Third and Manitowoc Streets, the Grade House is a brick two story cube with a recessed front porch. The hipped roof features asphalt shingles, the bonding is stretcher, and the foundations are random stone. The windows are double hung single pane sash with relieving arches and stone sills.

First known occupants were Oscar & Mary Grade. The Grades occupied the home from 1900 until at least 1920, during which time Oscar was employed as a foreman with the Menasha Woodenware Company. From 1934 to 1954, the house had numerous occupants including baker David Lesperance and George Stanke, an employee with the Menasha Sheet Metal Company.

2009--No apparent exterior changes have been made to the house since it was last surveyed in 2005.
