Additional Information: | #590. Colonial revival, entrance. 2009--An identical house, in reverse, is located immediately next door to the east. No apparent exterior changes have been made to the house since last surveyed. Resurveyed April 2016: no visible changes. 2016- "This 1 ½ story Front Gabled house was constructed c.1930. It is rectangular in plan with wood shingle siding and an asphalt-shingled gable roof with narrow eave returns. The front elevation faces south and is asymmetrical in plan due to uneven fenestration across the first story. The off-center front door is slightly recessed and is accentuated by a decorative wood surround and a broken scroll pediment. A 4-over-4 window is located on one side of the door with a bank of three windows on the other side (consisting of two 4-over-4 windows and a center 6-over-6 window). A pair of 6-over-6 windows is centered in the wall below the gable." -"Menasha, Broad St: Tayco St to Racine St", WisDOT#4992-00-55/58, Prepared by Gail Klein, (2016). |
